Whew! What an exciting month! Two days after moving back to
Orlando, I began rehearsals for Adam Bock’s “The Receptionist,” directed by
Kevin Becker. This production was the Central Florida premiere and opened on
July 18th. In this four person, political, dark comedy I was cast as
Lorraine Taylor (pictured below) and had to play a range of emotions such as crying over an ex-fiancé
to seducing a colleague to attempting to convince my friend to go into hiding.
It was a rollercoaster of a show and I enjoyed every second of it. Photo: John DiDonna

As soon as "The Receptionist" closed, I began working on “Burned,” a
short film directed by Nicolas Perez. I was cast as the role of Rachel. In this
piece the protagonist, Eric, is in love with his best friend, Rachel. Rachel is
a fun loving, free spirit and, unfortunately for Eric, she is already in a
committed relationship. Hearts are broken on Eric’s 3oth birthday when he
decides to express to Rachel how he feels. Pictured above is right before Eric (Shannon Bassoe) shares his true feelings to Rachel (self). As soon as the film is finished,
clips will be available on my website.
