August in
Review
August has been a whirlwind of a month and I could not be
happier! The month began with shooting a 16mm short film “Luck be a Lady,”
directed by Jordan Loscalzo. The film begins with conman Gareth (played by John
Sykes) bumping into seemingly good girl Anna (self). Gareth sees that she works
at a bank and decides to finagle his way into her life to see what he can get
out of the situation. However, Anna is not
who she seems to be and the conman ends up being conned. The cast and crew were a blast to work with and I cannot wait to see the
finished product!

In the midst of shooting “Luck be a Lady,” I also began rehearsals for “12 Angry Jurors,” directed by Nicholas Murphy. In this thought provoking piece, a nineteen year old boy is being charged for murdering his father. It is up to these twelve men and women to decide the fate of this young man. In a case that seems so clear cut, Juror #8 (self) doubts that it is as simple as it seems. As in life, nothing is ever as it seems. A group of talented central Florida actors will bring this story to life beginning October 2nd at the Princess Theater in Sanford, FL. You can click below for additional information.
To top August off, I was cast in a national commercial that will begin airing within the next couple of weeks. I am grinning from ear to ear with how this month has unfolded! Left: On the set of "Luck be a Lady." Gareth and Anna's first date. Photo by CL Graddy. |
